Terms & Conditions
1. General
1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all visitors to haia – Tech House Event (hereinafter “the Event”).
1.2 By participating in the Event, the visitor agrees to these general terms and conditions.
2. Admission and age
2.1 Entry to the Event is permitted only to persons 19 years of age and older.
2.2 Visitors must carry valid identification and show this upon request by the organization or security.
2.3 The organization reserves the right to refuse entry in case of non-compliance with these conditions or if the visitor appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
3. Tickets
3.1 A ticket for the Event is only valid for the date and location indicated.
3.2 Tickets are not exchangeable for cash and cannot be returned or cancelled, unless otherwise stated by the organization.
3.3 The organization is not responsible for loss, damage or theft of tickets.
4. House rules and safety
4.1 It is prohibited to bring weapons, drugs, glassware, cans, fireworks and dangerous objects to the Event.
4.2 Visitors must comply with the house rules listed on site. Violation of these rules may result in removal from the premises without refund of the ticket.
4.3 Visitors are obliged to follow instructions from the organization, security and/or emergency services.
4.4 In case of an emergency, visitors are required to follow the safety procedures as indicated by the organization.
5. Alcohol and drugs policy
5.1 Alcohol consumption is only allowed for persons 18 years and older.
5.2 The possession, use or dealing of drugs is strictly prohibited at the Event. Visitors under the influence or engaged in such activities may be denied access to the Event.
6. Liability
6.1 The organization is not liable for damage, loss or theft of personal property of visitors.
6.2 The organization is not responsible for physical injury of visitors, unless this is due to gross negligence of the organization.
6.3 Participation in the Event is entirely at the visitor’s own risk.
7. Privacy and visual material
7.1 Photographs and video recordings may be made during the Event. By entering the Event, the visitor agrees that these images may be used by the organization for promotional purposes.
7.2 The processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation.
8. Changes and cancellations
8.1 The organization reserves the right to change the program, location and date of the Event.
8.2 In case of cancellation of the Event by the organization, visitors will be informed within a reasonable period of time. In that case, a claim can be made for a (partial) refund of the ticket, in accordance with the cancellation policy.
9. Force majeure
9.1 The organization is not liable for damage or loss resulting from delay or cancellation of the Event due to force majeure, including extreme weather conditions, pandemics, strikes, etc.
10. Final provisions
10.1 These general terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
10.2 In cases where these terms and conditions do not provide, the organization will decide.
10.3 Disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
